Farm Pride & Golden Eggs - Supporting our drought Stricken farming communities!

A big thank you goes out to all our loyal egg consumers who helped us raise $7000 for the Country Women’s Association of Australia (CWAA) and $6000 for the Country Women’s Association of Western Australia’s CWA Sir James Mitchell Education and Welfare fund.  (CWAWA)

As part of our commitment to the farming community, from the 11th of February 2008, 10 cents from every marked Golden Egg “Drought Relief” Cage 59g 12 pack sold was donated to the Country Women’s Association of Western Australia’s CWA Sir James Mitchell Education and Welfare fund. 

The CWA Sir James Mitchell Education fund was established to assist families in cases of need, emergency and distress.  Since 2002 more and more farming families have sought assistance from this fund for family expenses as a result of the devastating effect of the drought.

The Country Women’s Association of Western Australia (Inc) aims to improve the wellbeing of all people, especially those living in rural and remote Western Australian communities.  For more information of the CWA of WA please visit www.cwaofwa.asn.au
