Farm Pride Foods Limited - Victoria & New South Wales

Farm Pride currently operates more than 10 farms and sources eggs from across the country to process and pack approximately 12 million eggs every week through facilities at Keysborough and Lethbridge in Victoria, and Dora Creek in New South Wales.

Farm Pride began in 1937 as the Egg and Egg Pulp Marketing Board of Victoria, which later became known as the Victorian Egg Marketing Board. In 1993, the Board was privatised and became the Egg Industry Co-operative Limited. From the Co-operative, Farm Pride Foods was established in October 1997 and eight years later acquired ACM Eggs Business in New South Wales, the G.O Drew Egg Business a year later, and Nature’s Dozen Egg Business in 2007.

Farm Pride employs more than 180 people and has one of Australia's largest egg processing plant, turning shell eggs into processed and convenience forms of egg products for supply into the food service industry.  For more information on Farm Pride please visit www.farmpride.com.au

Golden Egg Farms - Western Australia

 

 

Golden Egg Farms was established in 1946 and supplies fresh eggs and egg products to local, interstate and overseas buyers. Our export registered complex includes extensive grading and packaging facilities and a state of the art, triple tube exchange pasteuriser, which forms the centrepiece of our manufacturing activities.

The sophisticated systems and technology applied at Golden Egg Farms facilitate the provision of a totally integrated operation ranging from shell egg supply, to the manufacturing of all types of liquid and frozen egg products. Southern Egg - South Australia

Southern Eggs was originally known as the South Australian Egg Board.  This Board was privatised in 1993 and subsequently converted to a company and changed its name to Southern Eggs, trading as Sunray Foods Ltd, an unlisted public company owned by South Australian egg producers. Southern Eggs distributes  'A' grade quality shell eggs throughout South Australia. 

Pure Foods - Tasmania

Pure Foods was incorporated in 1988 following an amalgamation of the former Cameron Farms and Inghams egg layer businesses, both having been in existence for approximately 15 years prior to the amalgamation. In March 1998 Pure Foods acquired the business known as Wallace Bros. Eggs situated at Margate and in April 2000 acquired Houston's Eggs at Cambridge.

Pure Foods is based in Western Junction.  This facility grades and packs fresh shell eggs for distrbution throughout Tasmania.
